This machine is used for grinding edges of sawn pieces or mine rough to remove outer defects and sharp corners. Grinding can be done with the help of Diamond Laps or other abrasive wheels depending upon the job. By doing this the pieces are given the required approximate shape of the stones and thereby preparing the job for calibration on the Calibrating Machine.
The precision-machine spindle can accommodate two grinding laps on its both ends. Coolant pump is provided so that the stone does not get heated during grinding. This machine is having a robust casted body provided with splashguards, and is fitted on fabricated table with tube lights.
